I’m sure you’ve seen it, but egg prices have gone through the roof. We have been running around town trying to find the cheapest eggs and finally we found @profoundfoods has 15 dozen for $62 a case! We have been seeing $90-$100 a case. But these are farm fresh, free range eggs! Even better! 😍

You can also order eggs by the dozen from them as well. Get these straight from the farm instead of the big box stores.

Welp, we are back from our Holiday rest and reset break, only to find Mother Nature has other plans this week! Our Lake Highlands location is back today, but we are deep cleaning and getting ready for the week. Hillcrest Village has been open to regular store hours.

While it looks like this Arctic weather may shut the city down Thursday and Friday, don’t fret, we gave everything to keep you warm and sweet. So come stock up on some treats and if you need a fun activity to keep the kids occupied, grab some of our Bake at Home Cookies to get you through this weather!

Candied hazelnuts is a labor of love. You've got to stir constantly so they don't burn. Hazelnuts are my absolute favorite, which I'm sure I discovered along the way during culinary school, wondering where it had been my whole life! These candied hazelnuts are so, so good. We usually make them around the Holiday season and due to the large number of holiday orders y'all have put in, I just couldn't get to it. But yesterday, I finally did! With the help of @magganista, we both lost feelings in our fingertips separating them so you can enjoy these detectable treats. What took 15 minutes of constant stirring is condensed into a mere 25 seconds. 😂 Anywho, we will have these packaged up today and at both locations by tomorrow! Once packaged, we will have them up online. Order online or come in the

So I never grew up celebrating Christmas. I have always enjoyed going to friends’ houses to see their house get decorated for the holiday season. This is the FIRST Christmas tree I’ve ever decorated! Thanks to @jewelsgfamily for having a spare tree to gift HSP, I got into the holiday spirit. I found out that decorating a Christmas tree is much like decorating a cake. You have to step back to see if the placement of all the ornaments is just right. You have to know when to say when it’s enough ornaments just like glitter or sprinkles on a cake. But according to Julie, they’re always room for more ornaments. 🤣 And who knew you had to buy ornament hooks in order to hang your ornaments?!?!?! I surely didn’t, but that’s why you get yourself a Julie and she brings her Christmas bin to work. Why do ornaments not come with the hooks? 🧐

Anywho, here’s my first Christmas tree! 🎄We’ve got cupcake ornaments, macaron ornaments, and such because of course, we’re a patisserie! 🤗
